- map of land area
- map of sea area
Map of land area = topographic map (“peta rupabumi”), which domain surveys method is aerial photogrammetry.
Map of sea area = hydrographical chart, which domain surveys method is bathymetry.
Guide to analyse map/GIS needs
There are 4 groups of map/GIS users:
- navigation: base map & tematic maps, Electronic Navigational Charts.
- optimation: spatial planning, investation, routing, etc.
- facility management: infrastructure, building, etc
- monitoring: forest evaluation, traffic, environment, etc
